AM and PM Skin Routine: My Daily Glow Essentials

Consistency is Key—But Products Can Change

My morning and evening skincare routines are the cornerstones of my daily ritual, designed to  nourish, hydrate, and protect my skin from the stresses of everyday life. As a skin expert and  content creator, I test and explore countless products as part of my work, but while the brands  may change, the ingredients I use are always carefully selected to deliver the best results for my  skin. Below, I’m sharing my current AM and PM skincare routines that help keep my skin healthy,  glowing, and resilient.

AM Routine: Fresh Start to the Day

My morning skincare routine is all about cleansing, hydrating, and protecting. I focus on  creating a plump, dewy canvas while making sure my skin is protected against environmental  damage.

1. Cleanser

•  Dermalogica Oil-To-Foam Cleanser

I start my mornings with this gentle cleanser to remove any oils that built up overnight. It keeps  my skin balanced without stripping away natural moisture.

2. Hydration Mist

•  Dermalogica Hyaluronic Ceramide Mist

Immediately after cleansing, I spritz this mist onto my skin for an instant boost of hydration. It’s  packed with hyaluronic acid and ceramides to support my skin barrier.

3. Hyaluronic Acid

•  Vichy Mineral 89

While my skin is still damp from the mist, I apply Vichy Mineral 89 to lock in moisture. The  hyaluronic acid in this serum deeply hydrates and preps my skin for the next steps.

4. Eye Cream

•  La Mer Eye Concentrate

I dab a small amount of this eye cream around my eyes. The La Mer Eye Concentrate is rich in  marine extracts, which help brighten and hydrate the delicate eye area, reducing puffiness.

5. Vitamin C Serum

•  Medik8 C-Tetra Serum

Vitamin C is a staple in my morning routine for brightening and antioxidant protection. The  Medik8 C-Tetra serum helps fight free radicals, reduce pigmentation, and boost radiance.

6. Moisturizer

•  Clarins Multi-Active Day Cream

This cream is a go-to for hydration and glow. It’s lightweight but rich enough to keep my skin  moisturized throughout the day without feeling greasy.

7. Sunscreen

•  Mecca Cosmetica To Save Face SPF

SPF is non-negotiable, even on cloudy days. I use Mecca Cosmetica To Save Face SPF for its  lightweight texture and broad-spectrum protection, keeping my skin shielded from UV rays and  environmental pollutants.

PM Routine: Repair and Renew

In the evenings, my focus shifts to repairing the skin and providing it with what it needs to  regenerate overnight. I incorporate actives like retinol and exfoliants to improve skin texture and  clarity while ensuring deep hydration.

1. Double Cleanse

•  First Cleanse: Augustinus Bader The Cleansing Oil

My first cleanse is all about removing makeup and impurities. The Augustinus Bader Cleansing Oil melts away all traces of the day without disrupting my skin barrier.

•  Second Cleanse: Dermalogica Oil-To-Foam Cleanser

My second cleanse ensures that my skin is completely clean, prepping it for the active ingredients  that follow.

2. Hydration Mist

•  Dermalogica Hyaluronic Ceramide Mist

Just like in the morning, I mist my skin immediately after cleansing to keep it hydrated and ready  for treatment.

3. Night Serum

•  Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum

While my skin is still damp, I apply Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair. It’s a powerhouse  for repairing and boosting moisture, and it leaves my skin feeling plump and rejuvenated.

4. Eye Cream

•  Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Supercharged Eye Cream The skin around my eyes gets some extra love at night with this supercharged eye cream. It  helps reduce dark circles, puffiness, and smooth fine lines.

5. Exfoliant or Retinol (Alternate Days)

•  Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Daily Peel

Every other day, I use Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Daily Peel to gently exfoliate and resurface  my skin. The combination of AHA/BHA works wonders for texture and radiance.

•  IS Clinical Retinol Emulsion

On alternate days, I apply IS Clinical Retinol Emulsion to promote cell turnover and help reduce  signs of aging like fine lines and uneven skin tone.

6. Ceramide Capsule

•  Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Capsule

After exfoliating or using retinol, I use a ceramide capsule to deeply hydrate and restore my skin  barrier. Ceramides are crucial for locking in moisture and supporting skin health.

7. Night Cream

•  Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream

To finish, I apply The Rich Cream by Augustinus Bader. This cream is rich in TFC8 technology,  which helps rejuvenate the skin while you sleep, promoting deep repair and hydration.

Why Ingredients Matter More Than Brands

While I love the products I’m currently using, my skincare routine is always evolving. I’m  constantly testing new products, but I always stick to the core ingredients that deliver results.  Whether it’s hyaluronic acid for hydration, vitamin C for brightness, or retinol for cell turnover, it’s the ingredients that are the true game-changers.

•  Hyaluronic Acid: Deep hydration, plumps the skin, and prepares it for additional active  ingredients.

•  Vitamin C: Brightens and provides antioxidant protection, reducing pigmentation and  improving skin tone.

•  Retinol: Encourages cell turnover and keeps skin smooth, clear, and youthful. •  Ceramides: Reinforce the skin barrier, locking in moisture and keeping the skin resilient.

Creating Your Routine

If you’re looking to create your own skincare routine, focus on the ingredients rather than the  specific products. Choose what works best for your skin type and preferences. Whether you love  luxury brands or prefer more affordable options, it’s all about finding the right combination that  makes your skin feel and look amazing.

Remember, the foundation of great skin isn’t just about what you apply on the outside—it’s also  about what you nourish your body with from the inside out. So, pair your skincare routine with  healthy habits, supplements, and lifestyle choices that complement the work you’re doing on your  skin’s surface.
