It’s vibrant, packed with nutrient-dense ingredients, and incredibly versatile—perfect for adding a boost of flavor and nutrition to nearly any dish. Made with roasted garlic, roasted onion, courgette, raw spinach, raw basil, and bone broth, this sauce is full of anti inflammatory and healing benefits, plus it’s deliciously creamy and satisfying.
Super Green Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
• 1 Whole Head of Roasted Garlic: Soft, caramelized garlic with immune boosting and anti-inflammatory properties.
• 1 Roasted Onion: Adds a deep, sweet flavor, rich in prebiotics for gut health.
• 1 Medium Courgette (Zucchini): Mild flavor and adds creaminess, with a good source of fiber.
• 2 Cups Raw Spinach: Loaded with iron and vitamin A, spinach helps keep skin glowing and supports energy levels.
• 1 Cup Fresh Basil: Rich in antioxidants and promotes hormone balance. • 1 Cup Bone Broth: Collagen-packed and great for gut, skin, and joint health. • Sea Salt and Pepper: To taste, bringing out the rich flavors of the ingredients.
METHOD
1. Roast Your Veggies:
• Preheat your oven to 180°C. Cut the top off a whole garlic head and wrap it in foil with a drizzle of olive oil. Cut 1 onion in half and place both on a baking tray.
• Roast for 25-30 minutes, until the garlic is soft and caramelized and the onion is nicely browned.
2. Blend the Ingredients:
• In a blender or food processor, add the roasted garlic (squeeze out the softened cloves), roasted onion, courgette (raw or lightly steamed), raw spinach, basil, and bone broth.
• Blend until smooth and creamy. Season with sea salt and pepper to taste.
