I’ve always believed that beauty and well-being start from within, and this smoothie is the perfect embodiment of that philosophy. It’s my go-to blend every morning—a powerhouse combination that supports skin health, hormone balance, and mental clarity. This smoothie is packed with antioxidants, vitamins, adaptogens, and nutrient-dense ingredients designed to nourish from the inside out, keeping my skin radiant and energy levels high.

Whether you’re looking to boost your morning routine or find a simple way to nurture your body with potent, clean ingredients, this smoothie is a fantastic way to start the day. I call it my “Inner Glow Smoothie” because each ingredient has a purpose—every one of them adds something meaningful to how I feel, function, and look.

Donna’s Inner Glow Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

• 100g Frozen Blueberries: Rich in antioxidants, blueberries help fight free radicals and keep the skin youthful.

• 1/2 Banana: Adds natural sweetness and potassium for energy and balanced electrolytes.

• 80g Frozen Cauliflower/Broccoli: A surprising addition, it adds creaminess without overpowering flavour—plus, they are both high in fiber for gut health. Cruciferous veg also contains indole-3-carbinol, a compound that supports estrogen metabolism, helping to maintain balanced hormone levels, especially crucial for women’s hormonal health.

• 200ml Raw Milk: Raw milk is rich in vitamins, enzymes, and healthy fats, which are wonderful for skin and hormone health.

• 5g Hydrolyzed Collagen Peptides: Supports skin elasticity, joint health, and provides a protein boost.

• 5g Raw Cacao: A mood-enhancer that’s packed with magnesium and antioxidants to support both mental well-being and radiant skin.

• 5g Colostrum: Known for its immune-boosting properties, colostrum helps nurture the gut and support overall vitality.

• Flax and Hemp Seeds (1 tablespoon each): High in omega-3 fatty acids, these seeds help reduce inflammation, keep the skin supple, and support hormone balance.

• 1g Lion’s Mane Mushroom Powder: A wonderful adaptogen, lion’s mane supports cognitive function and mental clarity, perfect for tackling a busy day.

• 50g Raw Spinach: Loaded with vitamins A and C, spinach provides essential nutrients for skin health and immunity.

How to Make It:

1. Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender.

2. Blend until smooth—feel free to add a little extra raw milk or water if you prefer a thinner consistency.

3. Pour into your favorite glass, top with extra flax or hemp seeds if you wish, and enjoy!
