There’s a new kid on the block within the Chanel Beauty family, or is there?
The Iconic Soleil Tan De Chanel has a new name and a couple of new ingredients but aside from that the most purchased product ever is just as good as it’s always been, if not a little better!
I first invested in this bronzing dream many years ago and it became a firm staple I reached for time and time again. I particularly liked using it on holiday to really boost my sun-tanned glow. The thing I love most about this product is that it lasts forever, so many bangs for your buck!
I now have both old and new to compare for you and let me just say, there are not many differences at all other than the new one applies so much better.
This week I spoke to Chanel to get the answers you’ve been requesting from me..
Q: Why does SOLEIL TAN DE CHANEL have a new name?
A: LES BEIGES franchise is dedicated to each woman looking for simplicity and freedom in her make-up routine, sublimating her natural beauty with a radiant healthy glow.
SOLEIL TAN DE CHANEL perfectly matches with this philosophy. It’s unique, lightweight, and easy to blend texture blends with the skin to reveal its natural beauty. It leaves the complexion with a delicate sun-kissed glow, just like after a day spent in the great outdoors.
It, therefore, made total sense to include this iconic product under the LES BEIGES franchise.
Q: How is LES BEIGES HEALTHY GLOW BRONZING CREAM formula different from SOLEIL TAN DE CHANEL?
A: As a product from the LES BEIGES franchise, the bronzing cream formula now contains a LES BEIGES consistent ingredient, the Kalanchoe extract known for skin protection. For even more glide on the skin and a soft touch, coconut oil is also included in the formula.
Q: Am I going to find my usual shade?
A: Yes, it is the exact same shade as SOLEIL TAN DE CHANEL, named in memory of the former name Soleil Tan Bronze Universal but as of this week we have put plans in place to expand on the one “universal” shade and include more for all skin tones. Watch this space!
Another concern is about the added Coconut oil and how that could possibly lead to clogged pores and breakouts. The amount added to this new formula is so small that you would have to pile so much on to your skin for that to happen so truly is nothing to worry about. Also, the Coconut Oil chosen for this product is blended together with other ingredients that effectively cancel out its comedogenic effect so really nothing to be concerned about if you have oily/combination skin.
