The Hair Products I Swear By

Having short hair definitely makes it easier when it comes to styling but there are still a lot of products I rely on. There are also a few hairstyles I love, one being the wet look which I’ve done an IGTV tutorial on before but I’ve never actually shared my product list of things I use from washing to styling.

Some of these products are new to me but some are ones I purchase over and over.

Oribe Signature Shampoo

This shampoo is new to me but Oribe as a brand is not, as you will see reading on. I like to use products that are formulated from hair experts ie hairdressers/stylists because they work with all types of hair day in day out, they know their game. This shampoo is really light so doesn’t weigh my hair down, is enriched with anti-oxidents to protect my hair and keratin to strengthen.

Leonor Greyl – Lait Luminesence Biphase

I never use conditioner on my hair, it’s just unmanageable and limp when I do but just lately I’ve found this leave in spray conditioner that detangles and smooths my hair but also leaves it frizz free and shiny. I was gifted this product but I’m hooked now so it’s in my permanent hair list.

Oribe Texturising Spray

This product is on the cult list and I absolutely know why. I have purchased this product over and over for years. Nothing comes close to giving me texture like this spray. My hair relies on it!

IGK Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo

I’m not someone that washes my hair everyday, it’s more like every 5 – 10 days so there’s always a need for dry shampoo. I love this one from IGK, it really works plus gives great texture at the same time. It’s almost like a volume spray for the roots.

Oribe Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil

I won’t use hair oil every time I wash and dry my hair but If I’m doing a low slick pony tail then I’ll use this one to keep my hair in place. I love the glossy look it gives. If that’s not for you then it’s perfect for the ends of your hair to nourish and shine.

Byredo Slow Dance Hair Perfume

I didn’t know I needed a hair perfume until I got this. I love how subtle the spray is and leaves my hair smelling beautiful. It’s great for a night out or an occasion.

Vita Coco Coconut Oil

If you didn’t watch my “wet look hair” tutorial on IGTV then I’ll add the link hereĀ but one of the main products I use to achieve this look is coconut oil. I also serves as a leave in mask when I do this style and I swear my hair is so healthy because of this. If you don’t do the wet look I recommend covering your hair in coconut oil then sleeping overnight, just wash it out in the morning.

Kent Paddle Brush

This is the brush I pretty much use for everything. The large paddle brush gets through all the tangles and is great for styling when drying.
